The purpose of the Mission for Biblical Literacy is to open the Truth of the Scriptures with love by teaching and serving people through compassionate relationships.
Our mission is Biblical Literacy. We offer resource materials and motivation for congregations and groups of Christians to study the Bible through shared discovery. We also serve as "the Bible people read" through ministries of compassion, teaching, care-giving, and training in settings around the world. From direct care in orphanages in Russia and Armenia to nutrition in Haiti to Bible schools in Nicaragua, the Mission for Biblical Literacy is taking the Bible and its message of faith, hope and love to the world. Beginning in the Fall, 2011, we will renew the "Feasts of the Scriptures" program inaugurated by our Founder, the late Dr. Roger N. Carstensen. Look on this site for a video of Dr. Carstensen teaching about...the Bible.
Please contact The Reverend John Novikoff, President of the Mission for Biblical Literacy, for more information.
