Mission For Biblical Literacy

The purpose of the Mission for Biblical Literacy is to open the Truth of the Scriptures. We serve by teaching and serving and loving people through compassionate relationships.

Our mission is Biblical Literacy. We offer resource materials and motivation for congregations and groups of Christians to study the Bible through shared discovery. We also serve as "the Bible people read" through ministries of compassion, teaching, care-giving, and training in settings around the world. From direct care with families in Russia, orphans in Armenia to nutrition in Haiti and high-tech Bible study in the USA, the Mission for Biblical Literacy is taking the Bible and its message of faith, hope and love to the world.

The Disciples College

The vision of The Disciples College is:  Vitality in Christian Spirituality, Community, and Ministry in Congregations.

Since 1947, people have come to find that the Christian College is a community of disciples who teach and learn in order to seek and serve. Since our doors first opened, we have welcomed anyone to the opportunities to discover God’s will and to develop the skills to do it. While our "name" is that our founders designated, we ceased functioning as a college and campus in 1995. We now serve the Church as an extension of ministry, helping members discover ways in which to prepare themselves for effective ministry as laity and to advance themselves into formal preparation for Commissioned, Licensed or Ordained Ministry.
